Although I'm not sure I believe in it, I am still wary about any purchases I might make during Mercury Retrograde. It's worth paying attention and seeing if it seems noticeable in your own life. In any event, I am always looking for something to blame when things go wrong, and this certainly qualifies. From that link:
The planet Mercury rules communication, travel, contracts, automobiles, and such. So, when Mercury is retrograde, remain flexible, allow extra time for travel, and avoid signing contracts.What do you think? I've been aware of this astrological phenomenon for a long time and still am unsure whether I notice a difference or whether it's just because I'm paying attention.

and we were thinking of buying a new car, not sure I believe it or not?

ReplyDeleteOoh, how nice to be able to blame wonky happenings on an outside force. I followed your link to see how long it would last and was surprised. Good thing I wasn't going anywhere or planing on buying anything big.

ReplyDeleteMcFamily had their car accident before Mercury went retrograde--LOL! Astrology is fun to dabble in on occasion--kind of like psychics--but I don't take either of them seriously. :)

ReplyDeleteBut, in all honestly, me signing contracts, I avoid it if I can ALL the time, not just when Mercury goes retrograde.
I personally, love reading science. Anything to do with any PART of all sciences catch my attention, but like you, some can be believable, others, not so much.
Never heard of such a thing.

ReplyDeleteI bought a car when Mercury was retrograde and ended up returning it. I've also signed contracts during Mercury retros and regretted it.

Oh dear, I know friends who are traveling during that period of time. I’ll have to keep my fingers crossed for them. And OK... we won’t buy a car either.
