Taken last Saturday on Lummi Island |
But today I kept forgetting that I wasn't going to class today and would stop and try to remember what my schedule was. On class days, I drive to town instead of riding the bus so I can head to Yoga Northwest in Fairhaven. After looking for my car, I remembered that I had taken the bus. I'll get used to it, but it might take awhile.
I came home and did my laundry and then snipped two kinds of kale from the garden. One thing I've noticed is how much I love growing my own vegetables. And the raspberries are getting ripe. My favorite part of gardening is the harvest, and next the eating. I just finished a book I enjoyed (mostly: the ending threw me for a loop. Have you read The Last Cruise?) So now I'm lazily completing my final task for the day: my Tuesday post. I hope you're having a lazy Tuesday, too.
:-)
It is Wednesday here. I had a busy Tuesday (which finished a little after Wednesday began). Today will be quiet though I am considering a trip to the Art Gallery.
ReplyDeleteDo you have trouble remembering what day it is when your routine is interrupted? I know I do.
Enjoy your day.
I'd say you had a very active day. Yes, I sometimes have to stop and think what day it is.
ReplyDeleteA walk with Georgie and a few household chores here. Quiet day!
ReplyDeleteI find a change in routine is hard now!
We are just winding down after hosting a party for 40 people. It was a success, and the crew did a great job of cleaning up. Good guests.
ReplyDeleteHot here. Heat index in triple digits. Dogs have to go to park later in the day. They don't like changes in their routine, either!
ReplyDeleteI had a lazy Tuesday too. I don't know if I'm coming down with something or if it's the heat and humidity. I don't know. I can just imagine how much you must be enjoying your garden, watching it grow and harvesting the fruits of your loving labor.
ReplyDeleteSuper busy Tuesday. I ran errands in the morning, and while doing so bought a crate of super ripe peaches that needed to be immediately processed. I spent the afternoon cooking jam. Terry got ravioli for dinner and I made a summer salad with more of the produce I bought earlier in the morning.
ReplyDeleteSome days in the week tend to be so chaotic that it's easy to lose track of which one is which.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the new yoga class on Monday. It takes a while to get used to a new schedule.
ReplyDeleteThere is comfort in routine and sometimes discomfort in change. Glad you like the harder course.
ReplyDeleteI will check that book out. Thanks.
