Granted, it rains a lot, and the days are very short in the winter months, but the beauty is unparalleled. I am grateful that I live here, and that I can go outdoors in all weather, with the appropriate gear, and enjoy myself. Right now I am happily looking out the front window while sitting with my trusty laptop and writing this post. I am feeling lots of gratitude right now, perfect for this long Thanksgiving weekend.
:-)
You do indeed live in a beautiful part of the world. And add to it.
ReplyDeleteHugs.
Those trails you hike are spectacular and your life there sounds wonderful. You live is a little piece of heaven, Jan. You are well and truly blessed.
ReplyDeleteNice photo of the water with the right type of lighting.
ReplyDeleteLife is good! However, you make life good for yourself. You have to work at it and you do.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful you share your life and hikes in that area! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm thankful that you share your beautiful location through photos with us! I still 'virtually' hike with you. When I enlarge your photos, it feels like I'm right there.
ReplyDeleteStunning picture. You and Bellingham are a perfect fit especially since all weather gear is available. You can laugh in the rain.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! It has always looked just lovely there. You have made so many friends. I love the market!! You landed in a perfect spot, I think. ;)
ReplyDeleteI've heard only good things about Bellingham, and so I'm sorry I wasn't able to get up there to take a look around when I was in Seattle in July. And of course you're there, so it must be cool!
ReplyDeleteIt IS a beautiful place to be sure. And WE are ALL very thankful you share it all with us!
ReplyDeleteDear DJan, that view of Bellingham is lovely. As I glance out the window, I see the 6 inches of snow we had yesterday. First we had a sleet storm, then a blizzard blew in with high winds, blowing snow, and deep chill. Is is quite lovely, but oh, I feel sorry for those who have to drive to work and be out in this. Peace.
