From Astronomy Picture of the Day on Christmas Eve |
I'm sitting here in my bed, reading the news, blogs, and actually writing my Tuesday post early, for a change, and considering how wonderful that blue planet is. Many good things are happening in many lives right now. I will be going out to one of the few places open on Christmas Day around here, to enjoy coffee and conversation with the usual suspects, just in a different place.
“December is full of the beauty of Light and love we can bring into our life. You can choose to be stressed or you can choose to let the small stuff go and be peaceful this Holiday season. It really is a choice you make.” ― Eileen AnglinMay your day be a wonderful one!
:-)
Enjoy your coffee! Friends and fellowship are the core of a good life.
ReplyDeleteOne of the papers here had an article on the weekend about that mission. And I am reminded of a documentary from some years ago with commentary from the Apollo astronauts about that and other missions.
ReplyDeleteNever tire of that picture. Have a fun and full day Djan.
ReplyDeleteI hope your day (and all the days to come) is filled with love and laughter.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, DJan! Thanks for sharing that picture, I love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks and a wonderful day to you. You use one of my favorite quotes, "Son't sweat the small stuff." When I learned that teaching became much easier.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful photo and the reminder that ... we are all in this together.
ReplyDeleteYou wrote this at the beginning of your day. I am reading it as my day winds down. We are now back home after a good day of family fun and sharing. I hope your day was gtrat too.

ReplyDeleteDear DJan, I did have a blessed day--the best Christmas since I returned home to Missouri. Perhaps that's because I've stopped--finally!!!!--comparing what is here with what I left behind in Minnesota. That is, I am looking for and finding the good here and rejoicing. Peace.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Was a wonderfully peaceful quiet Christmas here with Annie. Glad I'm a member on the blue ball. :) :)
ReplyDeleteBelated Merry Christmas.
