we're off to see the wizard |
I also tried to highlight Far Side of Fifty to link it, but I can't figure out how. Plus hard as I try, I can't seem to download pictures that I took right here on my iPad! No, this is much harder so I won't be doing it except in a pinch.
We had a wonderful but rather difficult walk this morning with the ladies: first up Taylor Street and a full seven miles of walking. There were only eleven of us. Many stayed home when they saw it would be up the hill. I'm glad I went, though, now that I'm home and happily ensconced in my favorite chair! I was the oldest today but I wasn't the slowest. I'm bragging now.
:-)
And well you should brag! Good for you!
ReplyDeleteI do my blog from my Ipad. I use the blogger app and I can attach pictures I have on the IPad. Wish I lived neaby to show you but if I can do it, you can too. Good luck.
The app is Blog Touch Pro.
ReplyDeleteOZ theme!!! Cool!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you, ya I an edit/compose a blog post on the smartphone too, but it's too much of a challenge [and I like the large 27" computer monitor to work with compared to the small Galaxy phone] I can find my photos on my camera, but I can't copyright them with a watermark...just easier and much less time to do the 'old school' way.
Loved reading your hike from the previous post too DJ...I'm trying to catch up on some of the things I've missed this last week.
I may be able to edit and such, but when on the computer keyboard I see I can't type.......that should read "I CAN edit/compose" ;-)
DeleteBrag away - you've earned that right!
ReplyDeleteI've tried to post from my tablet - I never even got past the first sentence, it's just so much easier having a "real" keyboard and nice big screen.
your last two sentences made me grin - and i'm proud of you! :)
ReplyDeletedon't have an i-pad so can't help.
Brag to your hearts content. Totally justified.
ReplyDeleteAnd my iPadless self is impressed at your post.
Oldest but not the slowest :-) Love it! After 7 miles, uphill no less, you deserve to put your feet up!
ReplyDeleteWell, Far Side has really stirred things up. I'll have to take a look at this. But I'll tell you ahead of time, "I'm easily stumped."
ReplyDeleteI thought about trying it on an ipad too. It would be convenient for travelling, but I'm not optimistic.
ReplyDeleteYou did good! I purchased an app called Blog Touch Pro I can only use photos I take on th IPad. It is easier than hauling around my laptop, which is getting old. So far so good, but I like my desktop. Tomorrow I go home, I am ready to go home and be quiet for a few days. Too many younger ladies here and lots of activity and they are louder than Far Guy and Chance.
ReplyDeleteI don't even own an ipad, so all my blogging gets done from my old-fashioned computer.
ReplyDeleteI blog on my iPad and use a free app called Blogsy. It's very easy to get photos from your phone, camera roll, or photo stream. Also easy to size photos and position them horizontally on the page. Also to wrap type around photos. You might want to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteAnd ... not bragging, INSPIRING the rest of us!
I still feel I am on the yellow brick road with this MS laptop. That's enough newness for me--LOL! Sounds like you need an app, though.
ReplyDeleteBrag away!!! I wish I could still walk and hike--so I have to do it through you and your adventures. ;)
Hey, I brag about you all the time.
ReplyDeleteNice to know you have a back up system even if it isn't too cooperative.
Well, I must try this Blog Touch Pro your commenters mention. I used Blogsy previously on my iPad but it's been discontinued. Even when I don't feel like walking, I always feel better when I do!
ReplyDeleteI haven't mastered an ipad post! Glad to know you did. And this sort of bragging is a good thing!
ReplyDeleteI actually have successfully written a few blog posts from my iPad. I could not have done it with out a keyboard. The one I bought was part of the case for the iPad. I also found adding photos difficult, but I think I sent them to myself via my iphone to the iPad and then save them on the iPad. I don't enjoy using an iPad for blogging. I don't like reading blogs or writing them on the iPad, but I have written a few on it while I was traveling. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried to write a post with my iPad. I have tried to edit a post, but it only allows me to fix the first paragraph. The other paragraphs don't show. My iPad is older so maybe that's why.
