It's almost weird to see this sort of weather projection, since we are still crawling out from a wet, soggy springtime. However, May is often a beautiful time of the year around here. If I could somehow stop time and let a couple of weeks expand into a few more, it would be now, this time... the heady atmosphere, filled with smiling, sunburned faces, and white skin uncovered to feel the kiss of the sun's rays, which we've missed for so long. And everything is in bloom!
Thursday I'll be out with the Trailblazers, taking pictures and enjoying the weather with some of my favorite people. Until then, be well and enjoy!
:-)
74 F is still cold to me. Lol. I would need a heavy sweater. Hope it doesn't rain on Saturday so you can skydive.
ReplyDeleteyay! sounds like the warmth is breaking open for you!
ReplyDeletenice...enjoy that warmth...we are having a pretty amazing week...light coat in the morning...shed after lunch...not too hot...not too cold...and not too wet...smiles.
ReplyDeleteIt sure looks promising. We're expecting similar weather here too. Today was lovely. Enjoy those jumps!
ReplyDeleteBy all means enjoy the good weather while you can. You never know around here when you'll be seeing the sun again.
ReplyDeleteYes the forecast is great. Good luck skydiving. It's got that part of spring where the days are becoming very, very long.
ReplyDeleteIt's still cold at night, below 40 through tonight, not good for growing a vegetable garden. But with temps warming up over the weekend, I have hope for the seeds already in the ground.
ReplyDeleteSaturday should be perfect for sky diving. Have a great time!
Our weather will be much the same. I agree with you about this time of year. The weather is good and there is the promise of many more good days ahead.
ReplyDeleteIf you get your "knees in the breeze" have a wonderful time...enjoy to the max, and know that you are being thought of. I'm so glad that the weather has brightened up for you.
ReplyDeleteBe careful and have fun, my friend...
Hugs,
J.
I love the forecast for the next week!
ReplyDeleteWe leave on Friday morning for three days in Alaska to watch my sister graduate from nursing school. Forecast there is for highs in the 30s, lows in the teens, maybe some snow.
Enjoy your day in Snohomish!
These temps look perfect to me. Warm enough during the day, cool enough for a quilt at night, the gardens flourish, the sky devils get to plunge! You go, girl!
ReplyDeleteOh fingers and toes crossed for you.
ReplyDeleteLove that expression "knees in the breeze".
ReplyDeleteI do hope you get to enjoy that sensation this weekend.
We had been in the 80's but our weekend will look more like yours. Here we call that a cool down.
Ooh DJan, we worked round n round the house yesterday. All outside chores, cleanups, tuneups, pickups, painting, staining all day long and by 5pm decided that our local take out just outside time needed us - so off to there for Troy's burgers n fries. Yummy, as they just opened for season. 70 here is short weather n tank tops and almost time to swim. I think we are a bit hardy in the north. ha,ha Hope you get to enjoy some jumps and have a wonderful time hiking with friends. Take Care
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the beautiful weather, DJan. You deserve it. I got back from the two week road trip on Sunday night. Just catching up with mail and stocking the fridge and calling family this week. It is raining here today so I guess the farmers will postpone planting awhile. Hope you are doing well.
ReplyDeleteFunny, you don't often see a similar forecast for the Northwest as you do for the Northeast. But there it is. Enjoy. Btw, luv your community garden!
ReplyDeleteWell that looks a like a weekend to look forward to. Have a great dive.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy it! We were enjoying the 60s and 70s and then it was in the 30s last night and supposed to be in the 20s tonight and we'll be lucky to get to the mid-40s. So--enjoy! And leap into the sky if you must--LOL! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a change of weather- and for the better! Enjoy getting your knees in the breeze.
ReplyDeleteWe had five days in the 70s, and now we are back to the 30s with snow, rain, and wind. Our forecast is several more days of the same. Hope we all get some consistently gorgeous summer weather soon!
ReplyDeleteCliff Mass has gone off the deep end again, calling this "a torrid springtime heat wave". Sheesh.
ReplyDeleteWe've been having unseasonably low temperatures here, too. As in it snowed earlier in the week. I hope you have a great hike tomorrow, and good jumping on the weekend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and Bear hugs!

That's a splendid looking forecast!
ReplyDeleteSpring sounds wonderful out your way. I was only to the PNW once in April.. we had fierce winds, heavy clouds & rain about half the time, but the other half was warm & sunny. Either way, I just loved it.
It looks like a near perfect week and so far so good. Our projected temps are about the same. You should have a great hike on Thursday. And this weekend your knees can feel the breeze!
ReplyDeleteI can only hope that you will be sending that great weather east..I would appreciate it! Have a great weekend..safe landings! :)
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely temperatures. It was so hot and muggy here in Hawaii today.
