I'll be taking my laptop and hopefully I'll be able to put up a post or two during my trip, but I'm not sure whether things will work as advertised, ya know.
In any event, I'll be back home on Monday, August 30, and if you don't see me visiting your sites and leaving my usual comments, that's why.
Fortunately for the birds, Smart Guy is taking over their care and feeding while I'm gone. It's interesting to realize how much of a job it is. I don't want any little fledglings to miss their breakfast just because I'm elsewhere!
For those of you who follow Jan Mader (Ignite to Write), she's home from the hospital after her surgery. I'm also holding Robynn in my thoughts as she goes under the knife. She promises to share all the gory details on her blog in the future. Until later...

ReplyDeleteMy she's grown! and what a poppet. I hope you have a lovely trip. I'll look forward to hearing all about it as and when you have the time. I have a mother blackbird and her three babies to look after just now. I don't know where dad is? Yesterday we had two new cats in the garden so mine kept out of the way but the mother bird went ballistic, chittering to warn her youngsters to be careful. Unfortunately for them, our garden here in England has lots of shrubbery where cats can hide.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you hubbie is doing the bird duty. Like you say, can't have the little fledglings going without their breakfast, can we. Isn't it amazing how we all need someone or something to look after.

We are currently hosting the other grandparents here from the east coast visiting the local grandchildren. We are happy we don't need to drive loner that 2 hours to see some of our grand kids.
