I loved it but now I can't remember what it was called nor who wrote it. I would love to find it again. Perhaps one stormy night I will sit down at the computer with Google and see what I can come up with. If only I'd kept that book!!! Your books look very interesting. I think I would enjoy them very much. I have just finished one of Philippa Gregory's books set in Tudor times. I love her books and am ploughing my way (happily) through them.Stella Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06699491230987143490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6050996142546962834.post-45841015171677227192012-11-01T03:24:05.540-07:002012-11-01T03:24:05.540-07:00I have not read the triology DJan, however, it sou...I have not read the triology DJan, however, it sounds most interesting - my kind of read. There I visited one of my ancestral villages, Sel, in the Gudbrandsdalen Valley in Norway. My ancestor had a mill in the pine woods just above the valley. At the north end of the valley sits the church and the ancient church yard. In it is a statue of Kristin Lavransdatter. From there we drove over the Dovrefjell, where we saw a musk ox, to Trondheim, much along the same route as Kristin made her pilgrimage. <br />Reading that story with the settings fresh in my mind, was an amazing experience. I gave the books to my sisters to read, and they loved them too. Reading Kristin's story was like going back to the day long ago and far away of my ancestors.Linda Reederhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07665601809156707572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6050996142546962834.post-91248664719036481952012-10-30T16:59:40.185-07:002012-10-30T16:59:40.185-07:00huh interesting...have never heard of these...its ...huh interesting...have never heard of these...its pretty cool how some books seem new when you pick them up again but these truly sound like they are a bit new...ha...Brian Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00722940075884718007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6050996142546962834.post-34570796371941600472012-10-30T16:36:24.047-07:002012-10-30T16:36:24.047-07:00I'll check them out as they seem right up my a...I'll check them out as they seem right up my alley!Grandmother Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18169464484379536529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6050996142546962834.post-71676720211309277932012-10-30T16:22:23.323-07:002012-10-30T16:22:23.323-07:00Never heard of the series but sounds very interest...Never heard of the series but sounds very interesting.
