As the petunias come into bloom, the humming birds are coming as if to a feeder. We've always had better luck with flowers than with feeders for the hummers. I do love the goldfinches. I really do keep meaning to hang a hummingbird feeder up. It brings back great memories. I can easily picture my dad and I making sugar water for the birds and him grabbing my arm as I would walk by so that he could point out the hummingbirds to me.
