I have never seen this much snow still aboot on May 11th. Its usually gone by early to mid April. Perhaps this means we will have an extended summer into November. I certainly hope so, for the farmers still have not been able to till their fields, with much snow and melting water. My neighbour across the street is doing a garden this year on part of her lawn. Her Son surprised her yesterday on Mother's Day by showing up with a tiller and tilled the ground for her. We are all participating in building a nice solid fence around it with a gate. She was quite excited, so now we are planning her garden. I haven't even started mine yet - back yard still way too wet. Its nice to see your spring colours and I know we will catch up - just not this week, eh. Have a great day.LilliStJohnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06771499579700164919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6050996142546962834.post-48880125291497603602015-05-10T14:09:02.343-07:002015-05-10T14:09:02.343-07:00The pictures of your garden make me wonder how our...The pictures of your garden make me wonder how our garden is doing at home. It's sure to be a jungle when we get back. I hope we'll be able to salvage something. We're heading to the redwoods tomorrow on our days off. We're splurging to stay in a hotel...and take long, long showers in a shower with room to turn around.#1Nanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04214011945298439939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6050996142546962834.post-50104244626094268282015-05-10T12:35:56.300-07:002015-05-10T12:35:56.300-07:00So glad Al is getting thoroughly checked out. Peas are a legume and they are good for your soil, they don't take out nutrients only add them. Maybe you planted a different variety or from a different seed company. That will make a difference. I sure hope Al will be okay, tell him he has people all over the USA thinking about him. :) Far Side of Fiftyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07995757632158408442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6050996142546962834.post-28616920287171669962015-05-09T13:52:27.585-07:002015-05-09T13:52:27.585-07:00I love those columbines...mine have mostly died ou...I love those columbines...mine have mostly died out over the years (they are supposed to self-seed but I probably defeated them by mulching).
